My jewelry and accessories are created out of a celebration of life! I seek to discover the fascination that exists in the ordinary and the extraordinary. With this in mind, I strive to create something beautiful as well as useful out of something deemed worthless. I find more personal satisfaction in creating art with challenging recycled materials than any other medium. The name "Ecolibrio" is a combination of the Spanish translation for equilibrium (equilibrio) and Eco-friendly ideals. I believe in finding a balance between what is good for the earth and maintaining a high quality of life. On this site you will find items made with a combination of recycled materials (usually cables and wires), beads and metals. I have included a list of "Recycled Products Used" with each piece. If a material has made it onto this list it means just that...it's recycled. I am always looking to recycle something bound for the trash bin into my art. Even beads are recycled into new, fresh designs. It is great fun! Thank you for visiting and enjoy!
